The Wagner Law Group, A Professional Corporation, is a nationally recognized ERISA and employee benefits; estate planning; employment, labor and human resources practice. Our firm also handles general corporate matters for small and closely held businesses. We help clients with tax and corporate matters, litigation, succession planning and real estate. We take pride in counseling our clients in all areas of their businesses. Established in 1996, The Wagner Law Group has 23 attorneys, six of whom are AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell as having very high to preeminent legal abilities and ethical standards. The firm has one of the largest ERISA groups in the country. Our practice is national in scope with clients in more than 45 states and several foreign countries.
Our clients encompass those with whom we have longstanding relationships – for whom we provide the full range of legal services needed to establish and maintain their benefit and compensation plans and to fulfill their roles as employer, plan sponsor or plan fiduciary – as well as clients who have sought out the firm for individual projects as a result of our recognized expertise. Our for-profit clients include manufacturers, retailers, technology firms, financial institutions (ranging from investment managers and advisers to broker-dealers to banks) and professional service organizations in the fields of medicine, law, engineering, architecture and accounting.
Our Estate Planning and Administration practice area advises clients regarding preservation and protection of assets during lifetime and transmission of accumulated wealth to desired beneficiaries upon death. We counsel business executives, professionals, retirees and multi-nationals in family and personal planning, asset preservation and protection and tax planning.
The Labor and Employment and Human Resources practice group represents public and private sector clients in matters concerning the employer-employee relationship including counseling, compliance, drafting policies, training, discipline of employees, investigations, drafting agreements and litigation. The firm also counsels clients on best practices, compliance, risk management, employee management and termination.
